Arkil carries out large motorway projects, builds bridges and performs railway track work. We are specialists in environmental remediation and tunnel construction, and we have more than 80 years of experience with all types of building projects.
At Arkil, we have decades of experience with hydraulic engineering and foundation projects, and we also own a number of asphalt plants and are pioneers in the field of private road maintenance. We carry out large and complex infrastructure projects in fields such as bridge building, motorway work, railway work, and the expansion and renovation of harbour areas throughout Denmark.
Every year we complete large development projects, and sewer and supply line installation, as well as road work and rainwater reservoir excavation are among our core competencies. We offer road renovation services for both smaller roads and bicycle paths, and paving, earthworks and drainage projects are part of our everyday work.
Arkil Bridge & Concrete specialises in new constructions and the renovation of concrete structures, such as bridges, sliding formwork, wastewater treatment plants, car parks, bridge lifts and bridge pushes.
Arkil Rail specialises in projects in the railway sector and has completed a number of large projects for Banedanmark. The competencies of Arkil Rail encompass all technical disciplines related to track work and train operating power.
For more than 20 years, Arkil has acquired a high level of expertise in soil remediation, and we have significant experience of working with several different clean-up techniques. We have established both small and large groundwater lowering systems used to keep excavations dry when working below the natural water table.
Both in Denmark and beyond, Arkil's asphalt division offers all types of asphalt surfacing and maintenance work on motorways, by-roads, municipal roads, airports, car parks and industrial areas. We also sell asphalt directly from our asphalt plants, of which four are located in Denmark, five in Germany and two in Ireland.
Arkil Foundation builds on more than 35 years of experience with all types of foundation and post-construction foundation projects in Denmark and Northern Germany.
In addition to pure foundation-centred projects, we also offer timbered trench construction, sheet piling installation and contamination clean-up with large-scale drilling, as well as harbour and hydraulic engineering projects.
Arkil Road services works with road operation and maintenance in green areas. The many services offered by Arkil Vejservice include: litter collection, snow clearing and salting, grass cutting, toilet cleaning, crash barrier and marker post replacement, and the posting of road signs.
