Arkil builds bridges and creates connections
Arkil Bridge & Concrete has more than 60 years of experience with all types of complex concrete construction projects. Arkil Bridge & Concrete specialises in new constructions and the renovation of concrete structures, such as bridges, sliding formwork, wastewater treatment plants, car parks, bridge lifts and bridge pushes.
We have solid experience with erecting scaffolding for both complex in situ cast bridgesand prefabricated bridges, and we perform shotcrete repair work on the likes of tunnels and bridges, as well as constructing wind turbine foundations. At Arkil Bridge & Concrete we also construct fishways and replacement facilities.
The division performs public works with concrete designs in individual trade, general and turnkey or partnering contracts. We fully manage and execute the projects all the way from the planning phase to the final hand-over, and we emphasise the importance of delivering "Quality on time".
We care for the environment
We often carry out bridge and road work projects in sensitive natural areas. In such situations, we take special precautions throughout the entire process so that the bridge-building work is as environmentally friendly as possible, and so that the actual construction has the least possible impact on the existing environment.
One of our current projects is the construction of a valley bridge spanning the Suså River in Denmark, which anglers and canoeists will be able to use while the construction work is ongoing. Special measures are also being taken to prevent sediment and building material from being released into the river.
